Oddly enough, while the game will support cross-progression, Diablo 2: Resurrected will not support cross-play at launch. It will host cross-play and cross-progression for all platforms. Vicarious Visions is adding it to Diablo 2: Resurrected, one of several new features added aim to improve the game but otherwise do not alter the gameplay in any significant way.
